A few days ago, our CEO, Diego Gorischnik, attended IBM Think 2026, IBM’s global event held in Boston, where leaders in technology, business, and innovation gathered to discuss the challenges and opportunities that will shape the coming years.
Over the course of several days, the event provided a first-hand look at the latest trends in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, automation, and sustainability, as well as an opportunity to share experiences with companies and experts from various industries around the world.
AI is entering a new phase
One of the central themes of the event was the advancement of artificial intelligence in business. IBM presented its vision for the new AI-driven operating model, in which organizations will need to integrate automation, data, and intelligent capabilities in an increasingly cross-functional manner.
The message was clear: AI has evolved from an experimental technology into a real competitive advantage. However, a significant challenge was also highlighted: the growing gap between companies that are already adopting these technologies and those that have not yet embarked on that path.
In this context, the discussions focused on how to build more agile, scalable, and sustainable solutions capable of generating tangible results in both operations and the customer experience.
Technology, the Cloud, and Sustainability: An Integrated Discussion
In addition to advances in AI, the event reinforced an idea that is becoming increasingly prevalent in the tech ecosystem: the future of innovation cannot be conceived without sustainability.
Process optimization, smart automation, and cloud infrastructure not only improve efficiency but also reduce environmental impact and enhance operational traceability.
For us at e.tres, this approach is fully aligned with the work we’ve been promoting through our solutions, combining technology, e-commerce, and positive impact through initiatives like e3Eco.
“It was a very enriching experience to spend time with colleagues, learn about new technologies, and discuss the future of AI, the cloud, automation, and sustainability,” said Gorischnik. “We’re returning with new ideas and a lot to continue building on at e.tres.”
