Bank transfers are one of the most commonly used payment methods in Argentina. However, in most e-commerce businesses, the process remains manual: the merchant waits for the customer to make the transfer, send the receipt, checks the account, confirms the payment, and updates the order manually. This involves operational time, room for error, and a shopping experience that doesn’t measure up to the rest of the digital channel.
The integration between e.tres and Talo solves that problem, and merchants gain access to the funds' liquidity and improve their margins because payment processing costs are lower.
How it works
With Talo integrated into the e.tres platform, the bank transfer payment process becomes just as automatic as any other payment method. The buyer selects “Bank Transfer” at checkout, receives the transfer details—CVU, alias, and amount—and makes the payment through their bank or digital wallet. Talo confirms the transaction result, and the platform automatically updates the sale status: approved, pending, or rejected, as appropriate.
No manual review. No need for the customer to submit proof of the transfer. No need for the team to cross-check data between the bank and the system. No delays in order confirmation.
What does this integration add up to?
For merchants operating on e.tres, Talo offers an alternative payment method via a scheduled, traceable, and automated bank transfer. Designed for customers who prefer to make purchases without a card. Transaction data is recorded in the dashboard and available for tracking, support, and management.
The integration works alongside the other payment methods configured on the platform and can be activated without any additional development.
A partnership that expands payment options
Following the integration with Getnet announced this week, Talo adds a new layer to e.tres’s payment ecosystem. The goal remains the same: to enable each brand to offer the most comprehensive shopping experience possible, with all payment options integrated into a single transaction.
